Mini-Bio.

My name is Lydia V.Williams, owner and lead photographer of Diaography. The name Diaography originated from Ly(Dia) Victoria Phot(ography). As a child I have always had a vision and eye for photography. At the age of 12, I got my first camera. It was a digital Hello Kitty point and shoot camera. I use to photograph pictures of myself and eventually I learned how to edit well.

Growing up, I always had the entrepreneurial spirit. In High School I went through an entrepreneur business program called Young Entrepreneur Academy. It helped me learn how to run a business.I then opened up Diaography at the age of 17 and became an official business owner at the age of 18.

Before I graduated with my associates degree from Faulkner State Community College, I got my business license. During that time, I was the student photographer of the college. After graduating with my associates, I transferred to Troy University. Woo, Go Trojans! During my time at Troy, I was able to become the photographer of the university. I began shooting football games, more events and anything the college needed. I was behind thankful to continue my passion. On my last semester of college, I was blessed with the chance to study abroad. I visited Kampala, Uganda. This trip helped me use my vision and capture the other side of the world. It gave me a chance to show others what you may never see on tv. Uganda is such a beautiful country.

I am currently a free-lance photographer who captures a wide variety of subjects. I am also a people person, so it’s not a problem when it comes to shooting. I love building relationships with my clients. With that being said, I work very hard to give my clients the best photoshoot experience. I want them to feel beautiful in their own skin. Capturing memorable moments that last a lifetime is one of my main purposes. God gave me a vision and now I am so thankful I get to share my gift with my current and future clients!
